Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Basin Civic Services supports public agencies in Charleston with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to case files at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support case files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
