Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Granite Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Charleston plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
