Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Thistle Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Buffalo, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 910 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to licensing records at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
