Lumen Rook Housing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for repair requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 277 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to repair requests at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support repair requests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
