Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Forge Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Boston. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to packing house output at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support packing house output. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
