Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Birmingham, AL)

Nova Ember Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Birmingham, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to pricing at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support pricing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
