Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Drift Health and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 77 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to patient scheduling at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support patient scheduling. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
