Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Haven Markets and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to pricing at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support pricing. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
