Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Baltimore, MD)

Stonegate Iron Construction Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to safety records at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support safety records. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
