Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Baltimore, MD)

Redstone Orchard Freight is a Baltimore logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
