Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Atlanta, GA)

Fernwood River Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Atlanta. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to online orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
