Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Anchorage, AK)

Nova Rook Markets Group is a Anchorage retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
