Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Juniper Foods produces packaged foods at its Anchorage plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
