Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (San Jose, CA)

Summit Rowan Foods is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on invoice matching for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
