Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (remote)

Cedar Vale Manufacturing Group is a Chicago manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our invoice matching. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
