Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (remote)

Amberfield Wren Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Chicago, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our invoice matching. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to packing house output at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
