Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Providence, RI)

Ironwood Meridian Farms is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on invoice matching for grower contracts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to grower contracts at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support grower contracts. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
