Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Lantern Manufacturing Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on invoice matching for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 62 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
