Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Madison, WI)

Lumen Lakeside Foods produces packaged foods at its Madison plant. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on invoice matching. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Keep stock linked to allergen controls at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
