Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Detroit, MI)

Silverline North Markets is a Detroit retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our invoice matching. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to shrink and waste at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support shrink and waste. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
