Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Detroit, MI)

Silverline Rook Housing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on invoice matching for lease compliance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to lease compliance at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support lease compliance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
