Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Des Moines, IA)

Rivermark Harbor Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Des Moines, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our invoice matching. You would join a small organisation of about 144 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
