Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Charleston, SC)

Bright Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Charleston, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our invoice matching. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
