Purchasing Coordinator - invoice matching (Birmingham, AL)

Summit Linden Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Birmingham, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our invoice matching. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Keep stock linked to harvest schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support harvest schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
