Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Wichita, KS)

Lumen Stone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Wichita, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 709 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
