Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Virginia Beach, VA)

Highbridge Yarrow Civic Services works with county and city offices around Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to constituent requests at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support constituent requests.
