Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Wilder Housing manages affordable housing communities across Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 742 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Keep stock linked to waiting lists at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support waiting lists. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
