Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Tampa, FL)

Northwind Union Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 677 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system.
