Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (St. Louis, MO)

Cedar Fern Foods produces packaged foods at its St. Louis plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
