Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Iron Manufacturing is a San Jose manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
