Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Amber Manufacturing makes precision components in San Jose, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to scrap and rework at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
