Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Solutions supplies farm and food customers across the San Jose region, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to grower contracts at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support grower contracts. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
