Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Jose, CA)

Bright Summit Housing provides affordable homes and support services around San Jose. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to resident services at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support resident services. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
