Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Diego, CA)

Highbridge Clear Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
