Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Haven Markets and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Keep stock linked to store inventory at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
