Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Field Markets is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
