Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (San Antonio, TX)

Ironwood Fern Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on inventory replenishment for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
