Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Sacramento, CA)

Northwind Lakeside Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Sacramento, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to harvest schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
