Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Rochester, NY)

Fernwood Thistle Auto Group is a Rochester company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to vehicle inspections at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
