Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Lakeside Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
