Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (Richmond, VA)

Northwind West Freight Associates is a Richmond logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
