Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Greenridge River Markets serves neighbourhoods around Virginia Beach with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
