Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Ironwood Field Markets is a Detroit retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 681 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to pricing at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
