Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Fernwood Wren Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Indianapolis, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 504 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
