Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Bluepeak Field Manufacturing Group is a Chicago manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 981 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to production lines at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production lines. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
