Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Mill Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
