Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Cedar West Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Honolulu. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
