Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Redstone Basin Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Savannah, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to budget submissions at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support budget submissions. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
