Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

Cedar Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Anchorage, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our inventory replenishment. You would join a large organisation of about 905 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to dock schedules at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support dock schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
