Purchasing Coordinator - inventory replenishment (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Vale Manufacturing and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be inventory replenishment. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to scrap and rework at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support scrap and rework. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
